Instructors at Extra Innings

Extra Innings offers individualized, year round professional baseball and softball instruction. Our staff uses a uniform step-by-step teaching system to encourage positive progress with all our students.

The Extra Innings staff features former and current professional players, college all-stars, and area college and high school coaches.

Pete Feeley – Extra Innings Instructor


Pete Feeley – Extra Innings Instructor


Pete played at Seton Hall University, was a Division II All-American at UMass-Lowell and played professionally in the Detroit Tigers organization. He is the head coach of the New England Lightning 16U AAU team and is an evaluator for the Top 96 Invitational Showcase. Pete is also the General Manager, lead hitting instructor and college liaison at Extra Innings.
 
Mike Moroney – Extra Innings Instructor


Mike Moroney – Extra Innings Instructor


Mike was an All-Star player at Salem State College and currently pitches in the NSBL. He is the roving pitching coach for the New England Lightning AAU organization. Mike serves as the lead pitching instructor at Extra Innings and is and expert on the fundamentals of pitching and throwing. He is also the director of the Pro Shop at Extra Innings.

 

 
Peter Soteropoulos – Extra Innings Instructor

Peter Soteropoulos – Extra Innings Instructor

Peter played at the University of Connecticut and is now a member of the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He played for the Greek National Team in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. He currently coaches fall baseball for Extra Innings and is available for private pitching lessons during the off-season.

 
Matt Antonelli – Extra Innings Instructor

Matt Antonelli – Extra Innings Instructor

A Peabody, MA native, Matt was a high school star at St. John’s Prep. He played 3 years at Wake Forest University and is now a member of the San Diego Padres organization. Matt was the Padres’ first round draft pick in 2006 amateur draft, and will be a future major league prospect. He is currently available for Hitting, Fielding and Pitching lessons during the off-season at Extra Innings.

 
Emily Day – Extra Innings Instructor

Emily Day – Extra Innings Instructor

Emily played college softball at Siena College. During her tenure at Siena, she held numerous offensive records including hits, doubles, RBIs and walks. Prior to playing at Siena, she played at Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, MA, where she was an integral part of winning two state titles. Emily is currently available for private softball hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

 
Sean O’Brien – Extra Innings Instructor

Sean O’Brien – Extra Innings Instructor

Sean was both a player and a coach for Franklin Pierce College’s Division II College World Series teams. He is currently coaching for the 14U AAU Lightning Baseball Program. Sean is available for private catching, pitching and hitting lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

Jack is an ASA Major Fast Pitch Pro Instructor and is available for private softball lessons.

 
Lauren Dulkis – Extra Innings Instructor

Lauren Dulkis – Extra Innings Instructor

Lauren is a captain and four-year starter at the University of Maine-Orono. In 2004, she was selected to the America East Conference All-Tournament Team and was the Tournament's Most Valuable Player. Lauren is available for private softball hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings.

 
Joe Marchese – Extra Innings Instructor

Joe Marchesi – Extra Innings Instructor

Joe was a captain and four year starting pitcher/infielder at Bentley College. He is currently the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for Masconomet Regional High School. In the summer Joe also coaches the New England Lightning 15U AAU team. Joe is available for Pitching & Hitting lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

 
BJ Weed – Extra Innings Instructor

BJ Weed – Extra Innings Instructor

BJ played college baseball at Jacksonville University. After college, he signed a free agent contract with the Anaheim Angels in 2003. He is currently the starting centerfielder for the North Shore Spirit. BJ is available for private hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.
